Rarible marketplace is one of the top-rated platforms built at first on the Ethereum blockchain and has been in business since 2020. It is a NFT marketplace where any user can buy, mint and sell digital items.
The Rarible platform uses its own cryptocurrency, RARI—the first governance token to emerge from the non-fungible token (NFT) space. RARI enables the most active creators and collectors on Rarible to vote for any platform upgrades and participate in curation and moderation.
Rarible focuses on digital art assets and virtual collectables. The platform's NFT minting process is particularly attractive to those with no coding skills, allowing artists and creatives to sell their work with low barriers to entry. Rarible says the entire process takes less than five minutes on its platform, and it charges both buyers and sellers a 2.5% fee.
Rarible marketplace is easy to navigate. Theplataform filters let you search by blockchain, sale type, price range, and collections.
What cryptocurrencies are accepted on Rarible?
Rarible is a multichain marketplace, meaning you can buy, mint and sell NFTs on multiple blockchains. Originally built on Ethereum, Rarible also added support to Flow, Solana, Tezos and polygon.
Rarible allows users to pay using both cryptocurrencies and credit cards. Whichever payment method you use, you'll need a crypto wallet to use Rarible. The plataform uses a third-party processor to handle credit card payments.

Rarible token
The RARI token is the native token to the Rarible platform. Launched in July 2020, it was the first governance token in the NFT space. The token has a maximum supply of 25,000,000, half of which is reserved for buyers and sellers.
The RARI token can only be earned by using the plataform. However, the RARI token can be purchased or exchanged on some cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase.
The ultimate goal of the RARI token is to move toward a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). In such an organization, platform users vote on all decisions.
Rarible app
Like Opensea, Rarible also makes its marketplace available in APP format for download. Available for Android and Apple devices.
Users have complained about both the inability to purchase, sell or mint non-fungible tokens on the app as well as frequent technical glitches.
Rarible fees
Rarible takes 1% on the buyer side and 1% on the seller side from every sale happening on the marketplace.
Rarible security
The Rarible platform clearly outlines its security measures and privacy policy. Since you store digital assets in an external crypto wallet rather than on the platform, to a large extent, you are responsible for the security of your NFTs.
However, users must be aware of Phishing risks and fraudulent NFT collections.
Bottom line
Rarible marketplace can be great for collectors and creators. Users can mint on different blockchains, and collectors can collect a wide variety of NFTs across chains. Rarible supports multiple wallets and the plataform is easy to navigate.
